Blondie On Blondie
AKA Blondie Clermont Clip from Jon Watts on Vimeo.
I have been to the Clermont Lounge to see Blondie's act, it is pretty wild. The upcoming documentary should be very interesting. A must see when you are in Atlanta.

The Brockness Monster
This was a great discovery today on Twitter. In my opinion new Bucks power forward Jon Brockman may have the best avatar in all of sports. I can see why he will quickly become a fan favorite. Fear The Deer.

I Ate That
This is the most delicious loaf of bread in the world from Stella's Bakery. I had the pleasure of eating this at the farmers market after the Madison Mini Marathon. This bread was worth all the training. Now if only you were able to smell through the internet. Do not leave Madison without getting one for the road.

Just Not For Chinese Food aNYmore
I know this has made the rounds, but I found it in my archive. Just like Chinese leftovers, it is better the second time around.
Conan "The Album"
In futher efforts to promote this upcoming show on TBS, Conan is about to release two albums. It is about time. Some of my favorite moments from his show is him with his guitar or singing.
The album two albums, "And They Call Me Mad?" includes O'Brien's improved spoken word inspired by the legend of Franeknstein and an interview with Conan conducted by Jack White.
The second is a rockabilly inspired album called "Conan O'Brien Live at Thrid Man." The album features tunes perfromed by Conan's band and a duet with Jack White.
Both albums were recorded in June. Check out White's Third Man Records site for more information. "And They Call Me Mad?" is expected to ship Aug. 24.

Separated At Birth
I was poking trough several music blogs and came across Teenage Kicks. After reading a post about Mumford & Sons, they pointed out something I can't believe I missed. How much Kyle Chandler, a.k.a. Coach Eric Taylor, from Friday Night Lights looks like the lead singer Marcus Mumford. Makes sense, it is a great show and a great band, I hope Mumford & Sons will be featured on the final season of Friday Night Lights.
Don't miss Mumford & Sons at The Pabst Theater, October 30th.

Why Old School Rules
Another gem from local reader, DJ Kusi. There is a fine line between crazy and amazing. I think Grandma Tracy dances that line everyday. God bless her for still wanting to battle dance at her age. I would not want to mess with that. I can only hope to be that eccentric when I am her age.

Before You See It On Tosh.0
Local reader Matt Sode sent me these magical videos this morning. They do come with a set of instructions.
What this video first....
Now watch this video....
The internet is a wonderful and confusing place sometimes. It is truly "Where Amazing Happens."

The Riverwest 24
Yesterday at the 3000 Pierce Street Street Party, I was entertained by the Riverwest 24. A 24-hour bike race, where you are allowed to wear costumes, capes, and drink beer. So with discussions with @mkedave and Gflat, we are assembling a crew for next year. We are starting our recruiting efforts, as well as our team theme. Here is what landed on to date.
- Ninja
- Superheroes
- Lucha Libre
- Underware
If you want to ride or got any suggestions, let me know.
